How To Rid Dark Circles Under The Eyes


Whether hereditary, caused by fatigue, stress or a hormonal imbalance, dark circles are never welcome on a face! In addition to making them look sick and tired, they are particularly tough and difficult to dislodge. However, with a little patience and a few remedies from grandmothers, it is quite possible to reduce them, or even eliminate them. Right away, here are natural tips against dark circles!


How To Rid Dark Circles Under The Eyes


Two Cold Spoons


Place two teaspoons in the fridge for 15 to 20 minutes. Then apply them to your eyes for a maximum of 10 minutes, the cold will activate blood circulation and wake up the eyes.


However, be careful not to use this trick too often. This is because the blood vessels around the eye are very fragile and could be damaged.


Coffee Grounds Mask


Mix 1 tbsp. coffee grounds with ½ tsp. almond oil. Apply this mixture to the eye area and leave on for 15 to 20 minutes. Rinse softly with clean water and repeat the tip  every night for 1 to 2 weeks.


Almond oil's vitamin E and caffeine will activate the microcirculation and make dark circles disappear.


Green Tea


Brew two bags of green tea. Refrigerate them before applying them to your eyes at bedtime. A tip to perform every evening for 2 to 3 weeks.


The antioxidants in tea will help you gently remove dark circles and puffiness.


Cucumber or Potato Slices


Cut two slices of cucumber or potato and place one on each eye before going to bed. Repeat each evening for several weeks, making sure to keep the vegetables cool for added effectiveness.


Dark circles should be visibly reduced thanks to the moisturizing and decongesting properties of cucumber and potato.


Massages With Avocado Oil 


Each evening, gently massage around the eye area with 1 to 2 drops of avocado oil. You should see the first results after one to two weeks.


Homemade Honey Lotion


Moisturizing, anti-inflammatory and soothing, honey is the ideal food for reducing stubborn dark circles.


To use it, dilute 1 tsp. in half a glass of lukewarm water. Soak two cotton pads or compresses in this solution and place them on your eyes for 5 to 10 minutes. Then rinse with clean water and repeat the operation for several days.


Water


Lie still in bed for a while and drink a glass or two of water.

The water stored overnight will be eliminated more easily and your eyelids will decongest.

Keep 10 to 15 minutes.

Rinse with lukewarm water.


Blueberry flowers


In a cup, pour boiling mineral water over a handful of blueberry flowers.

Leave to cool then filter.

Soak a compress in this infusion, then apply to the eyelid.


Ice cubes


Place an ice cube inside two washcloths and apply to dark circles for 5 minutes.


Cold milk


Soak a compress in very cold milk then apply to the eyelid and dark circles.

Renew as soon as the compress is no longer cold.


 Aloe vera


With the help of scissors, cut a piece of fleshy Aloe Vera leaf in the middle, then remove its spine.

Rinse it under running water, then slice the leaf in half in its thickness, then with a spoon, scrape the inside to collect the pulp of the leaf.

This is Aloe Vera gel, a transparent and gelatinous substance.

Apply this gel on dark circles, it is one of the best natural moisturizers.


Chamomile compress


In a cup, pour boiling mineral water over a handful of chamomile flowers.

Leave to cool then filter.

Soak a sterile compress in the infusion.

Squeeze gently then for a quarter of an hour, and apply immediately on closed eyelids.

Repeat the operation approximately every two hours.

- Or apply a sachet used for an infusion to the eyes.


Carrot


Crush a small raw carrot as finely as possible to obtain a pulp.

Add half a teaspoon of olive oil to this puree.

Apply to dark circles.

Cover with a cotton ball or a compress.

Rinse thoroughly.
